Watch Your Ashes
Voice Over: Length 30 seconds This winter, the fire department reminds you to watch your ashes when cleaning them from your wood stove or fireplace. Many house fires have been caused by hot ashes placed into combustible containers. Ashes should be left to cool, then emptied into a metal container with a tight lid and stored outside. Don't give fire a place to start. Voice Over: Length 15 seconds This winter, the fire department reminds you to watch your ashes. Empty the ashes from your fireplace or wood stove into a metal container with atight cover and store it outside. Don't give fire a place to start.
