2008 "Safety Matters" Calendar Fundraising

Fundraising for Safety!

The Fire Marshal's Public Fire Safety Council and the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs are proud to embark upon a new initiative designed to assist schools and fire departments across Canada in their fundraising endeavours.

A 2008 "Safety Matters" calendar is available for schools to sell to raise funds for their school needs. Partnering fire departments identified by their schools during sign up will receive additional funding from the Council and the CAFC.

• The calendar's monthly safety features will include several key messages that support the Risk Watch injury prevention program and philosophy.

• The calendar itself will be of high quality, sized at 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm, similar to those sold in stores in the $15-$20 range, and will have a suggested retail price of $15.00. See the sample calendar .

• As an added bonus, for every 50 calendars sold, your school's name will be entered into a draw to be eligible to win 5 computer systems, sixteen winning schools will be selected.
